Back to international licensing

BUSINESS INQUIRIES · SEPTEMBER 23, 2026

Your information, handled with care.

This notice applies to the international licensing application and its private review process. MEDA’s separate beta privacy policy covers early-access and member testing.

What we collect and why

MEDA collects your company and business contact details, ownership and leadership summaries, proposed countries, funding and commercial plans, capabilities, readiness information and the declarations you submit. We use these to evaluate a possible partnership, carry out diligence and correspond with you. Submission does not sign you up for unrelated marketing.

Confidential business review

Applications are not public. Access to the application database is limited to authorized MEDA reviewers and the service providers needed to host and operate the website. We may also disclose information when legally required. This notice is not a mutual non-disclosure agreement; ask us to arrange an NDA before sending proprietary technical materials or sensitive documents.

Automated assistance and human decisions

We use structured questions and may use automated assistance to organize answers and prepare review materials. This application does not transmit your answers to an external AI model. A person decides whether MEDA proceeds, and the application does not send automatic acceptance or rejection emails.

Storage and retention

Applications are stored in MEDA’s hosted website database, separately from member records. Hosting may involve processing outside your country. We retain information for evaluation, related discussions and legitimate recordkeeping, subject to applicable law. You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting us. We will assess any legal obligations before deletion; copies in provider backups may remain until their normal expiry. Do not use this form to send information that requires a particular national hosting location.

Protecting the application

We use encrypted transport, server-side access checks and submission limits. Short-lived, pseudonymous network identifiers help limit abuse; raw IP addresses are not stored in the application tables. Hosting providers may keep their own operational logs. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

What to leave out

Do not provide patient or medical information, bank details, passwords, government identification documents or trade secrets. Include other people’s business contact information only with permission.
